Sounds like a scary combination doesn't it?! With Ford's MyKey Controls, it doesn't have to be.
You see, Ford wanted to create a product that could keep teen drivers safe on the road and give their parents peace of mind. The Ford engineers came up with MyKey, an innovative system that allows vehicle owners to--when a specified key is in use--limit speed and radio volume, provide earlier low-fuel warnings, mute audio systems until the driver buckles up, and even reroute phone calls to your mailbox while driving.
The MyKey is now standard on nearly all Ford models and programming is simple:
Insert your MyKey and select your settings from the vehicle information screen.
